Our Approach

Events Edmonton is recognized and respected for creating a sense of equity, diversity and inclusion by treating everyone equally, with dignity and respect, including visible minorities, women, Indigenous, LGBTQ2S+ and disabled persons, with the ultimate goal of making it possible for people of all ages, demographics and abilities able to experience the Taste of Edmonton festival barrier-free. Our comprehensive address to eliminate accessibility barriers offers an experience where everyone feels safe, inclusive, vibrant, and resilient.

It is with this approach in mind that we try to create a diverse menu that everyone can enjoy and a performance lineup that highlights Edmonton & Canadian talent of all genres.

Our Community

Taste of Edmonton creates a sense of connection and community spirit through close relationships with Edmonton based organizations. Local non-profit and charitable groups are provided opportunities to volunteer at Taste of Edmonton while raising funds to support their programming and services. We give back as much as we can by working with various non-profit organizations such as Edmonton Food Bank and Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area.

Taste of Edmonton Community Fund

In 2015, Events Edmonton established the Taste of Edmonton Community Fund to help create and support local initiatives. Every year, the equivalent value of donated Taste of Edmonton tickets are added to the fund to help grow its contributions to the community. The fund generates a net income that is donated on behalf of Taste of Edmonton to deserving organizations that are working to improve our community and help those in need.
